MSP welcomes display of Titian masterpiece in Dundee later this year.

Marlyn Glen has welcomed the announcement that the £50 million painting by Titian, Diana and Actaeon, will be in display in the newly-refurbished McManus Galleries from 6th. August to 5th. September
She said,
" The display of the renowned Titian masterpiece will be the cultural
highlight of the year in Dundee.
" This will be a must-see event.
" The City of Discovery is fast becoming a recognised City of Culture as well."
Ms. Glen urged a public showing of the masterpiece in Dundee with the
National Galleries of Scotland and the then Culture Minister Mike Russell last
summer.
